KAISER THE LEGACY stands as a testament to the values and vision of its founder, Syed Raja Abbas, and his dedication to transforming the art scene.

Our Vision

By addressing the gaps he observed in traditional art spaces, the organisation offers a platform where innovation and diversity can flourish. Its mission extends beyond mere representation; it aims to redefine the artistic landscape by celebrating and elevating voices that have been historically marginalised.

Syed had spent the past few years immersing himself in art exhibitions and performances, live music gigs, slam poetry events and independent curatorial gatherings, noticing there was an inconsistency and gap for artists of colour, bodies of work that push social barriers and an open space for artists to practise with their own autonomy.

Thus, KAISER THE LEGACY was created as a vessel to bridge the inconsistencies and underrepresentation of these artists and their bodies of work. Through drawing inspiration from his Pakistani heritage, KAISER THE LEGACY was founded in response to the growing need for inclusive artistic platforms that reflect diverse voices and experiences. Named in honour of Syeds late grandfather, Syed Kaiser Abber, KAISER THE LEGACY stands as a tribute to his legacy and a commitment to advancing a more equitable artistic landscape.

The organisation hosts a variety of events and initiatives, including exhibitions, workshops, and performances, that reflect the rich tapestry of cultural experiences. These events not only provide a stage for artists from diverse backgrounds but also engage the broader community in meaningful dialogues about art, identity, and social change.
